Valley
of the Mist is easy to find
It's a mere 5 kilometres from the Pacific
Highway to the "Valley of the Mist" native bush fruit and nut
plantation and wetlands wildlife habitat. Simple directions follow after
the next photograph.
Directions
if driving North towards Brisbane
| • |
Follow the Pacific Highway into
Macksville. |
| • |
Look for the Nambucca Hotel on
your left at a set of traffic lights. Turn left. |
| • |
Veer slightly left 100 metres
later and drive up the hill. At the top of the hill, continue
past the Catholic Church and proceed to the water tank tower. |
| • |
Keep to the right side of the
water tank tower and proceed westwards for approximately 2½
kilometres towards Taylors Arm. |
| • |
Look for a signpost pointing right
to Talarm and over a bridge. (see bridge photo above these
directions). Make this turn to the right and cross the bridge. |
| • |
About 200 metres after the bridge
keep straight ahead putting you onto a short stretch of dirt
road. |

After about 500 metres of dirt
road and look for the sign-posted entrance to our property on
your right hand side (a photo of our entrance appears just below
this set of instructions). |

Turn right into our driveway and
along the bushland lane to our property. It has a good surface
and is regularly used by tour coaches. |

Follow the Pacific Highway over
Macksville bridge and into Macksville. |
| • |
Look for the Nambucca Hotel on
your right at a set of traffic lights 100 metres after the
bridge. Turn right. |

Veer slightly left 100 metres
later and drive up the hill. At the top of the hill, continue
past the Catholic Church and proceed to the water tank tower. |

Keep to the right side of the
water tank tower and proceed westwards for approximately 2½
kilometres towards Taylors Arm. |
